I quit sugar five years ago when I was pregnant with my first son. It was making me fat, sick, lethargic and miserable. It was hard, but I got there and the reward has been incredible. For me and my family.

Banana and peanut butter = energy

I never used to like bananas. I now have two a day. One usually in my protein shake. If I don't have time to make a shake before my workout, I will always eat one beforehand. It gives me more energy to work out harder, burning more calories.  This snack is easy to prepare and tastes great.
