I quit sugar five years ago when I was pregnant with my first son. It was making me fat, sick, lethargic and miserable. It was hard, but I got there and the reward has been incredible. For me and my family.

I haven't posted anything on here for over a year. I am pretty disappointed in myself. I had always meant to continue posting... but I don't think I could have ever contemplated how much time a baby can take up, together with "just living" day to day.  I know a lot of mothers out there will understand, but to those who are yet to have a child..Just you wait and see!! :)

I have many recipes to share and a little insight as to how I got back into shape after having our son. It has been a busy year with so many highs .. and if I am being honest.. a few lows.

Nothing could have prepared me for having a child. Mentally and physically, it has thus far been the toughest yet most rewarding year of my life. I found exercising and a little sleep kept me motivated AND HAPPY. Even on those days of surviving on a couple of hours sleep (and there were shitloads of them) Exercise and a little positivity got me through.
