Cabbages and brussel sprouts

Cabbages and brussel sprouts


With all things cabbage in season in Perth, Australia I have adding it to everything.. brussel sprouts are delicious roasted. So simple. Set oven to 180 C. Halve them (make sure they're washed and clean) Place them in a baking tray. Drizzle some olive oil and a dollop of butter over them. Salt and Pepper. Some herbs if you like. Even some diced bacon. Cover with alfoil and roast for 30 minutes or until soft. Take the alfoil off and cook for a further 10 minutes if you'd like some crispiness. Easy side dish.. and you may even convert some "ewww brussel sprouts" haters.
